i searched the archive for something similar...couldnt find anything, but anyway...what do you people listen to besides FB/C? i've been to a handfull of FB/C concerts and seen everything from indie-rock weenies to straight up gutter punks shoulder to shoulder digging on the show and singing along, so unless this area is just weird i imagine his music has quite the wide appeal in diversity.
personally, im stuck in early 90s...anything made past 96/97 im not usually to hot on...got hooked on punk in the 80s, discovered mudhoney/dinosaur jr./pixies in the late 80s, discovered techno/hardcore in 91 and never left any of it alone, really. well...here's my must-have bands that i'd rather not live without their recordings..excluding FB/C of course...
Germs, Blatz, Swervedriver, Stone Roses, Charlatans UK, Menace, Eric's Trip (+Elevator Hell/Through projects), Swirlies, P.E.E., Archers of Loaf, Mudhoney, Dinosaur Jr, Pond, Carpettes, Lush (all the early EPs + Spooky..never cared for the pop-stuff), Codeine, Slowdive, Thingy, Naked Raygun, Beck's non-funk stuff, Ned's Atomic Dustbin...
im sure im leaving some out...if i had to pin a must-listen on any of these i'd have to go with Swervedriver "Mezcal Head", Stone Roses "S/T", and Pond "Practice of Joy Before Death"
