| Surfer Rosa is a name I suppose. Rosa is a spanish name isn't it? So Surfer Rosa is a name like Sheena the Punkrocker etc. Correct me if I'm wrong. |

What words you talkin 'bout, exactly? I know of a couple, but it doesn't seem to be the norm that he makes up words... I agree though, where he does make one up, it's a gas.
Rosa means rose. It is a common Spanish name. |

YEAH, I'M WITH DOUGLAS....NOTHING'S COMING TO MIND THAT HE'S "CREATED" PER SE...IT'S MAINLY JUST UNUSUAL USES FOR EXISTING WORDS AND ODD COMBINATIONS

I ALWAYS KIDN OF THOUGHT "SUBBACULTCHA" WAS JUST A PURPOSEFUL MISPRONUNCIATION OF SUBCULTURE....AND UN CHIEN ANDALUSIA IS (MORE OR LESS) THE TITLE OF THE ART FILM THAT "DEBASER" WAS ABOUT (IT'S ACTUALLY CALLED UN CHIEN ANDALOU)

Well andolusia is a latin based word accessible to Spanish, French and Italian (probably Portugese too). So the phrase un chien andolusia is fine in french.
Subbacultcha is just a slang way of saying subculture....like the way some roll over "got you" into "gotcha".
