What shall I have for my lunch? You have 1 hr, 15mins to tell me.
Do I go for KFC (which I have too much, and is unhealthy and expensive); Mr Bagels (cheap but reasonably souless); Italcibo (Italian deli); Caffe Quattro (bus station cafe); Greasy Spoon

How 'bout skipping lunch and going for some feel good detoxification?
FYI it will be a brie and grape sandwich pour moi.

Listen here, I'm not going to Lincoln just to bring you a sandwich. Also, what do you mean, skip lunch? Its just too insane and wouldn't possibly work. I'd pass out at the crucial moment.

No, no..the Brie/grape combo is what I'm planning to have.
You're right, skipping lunch is foolhardy. Caffe (with 2 f's - kind of a reverse jefrey?) Quattro sounds magnificent. Would I be right in thinking that this represents a (small) step up from the greasy spoon?
..and you get to watch the buses going in and out for free.

Caffe (with two f's) = correct italian spelling, apparently. Actually, its slightly nicer than Greasy Spoon+. They have proper coffee and ciabatta's and stuff. The problem is, its small and quiet, so the staff watch you a bit...

I might... Here's the thing: I sit in these caf(f)es and read my book, and it makes all the other customers seem less intelligent, which they resent. "Look at that *&%$£/ in the corner, sipping his espresso, reading his clever persons book, grr..."

I wish I could afford curry for lunch... The book is Crime & Punishment, which is hugely intellectual looking.
I went for Caffe Quatro in the end: salami baguette and cappucino, very tasty.
