well, according to a lot of folks on the pixies section, a lot of people first thought mike was a woman(http://forum.frankblack.net/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3603). i too, thought he was of the female persuasion.
here is a fair chance for him to prove his maculinaty.

maybe the nick is a bit ambiguous.in the beggining i thought too that he was a she mostly because speedy marie is female and i couldn't immagine a male being called "marie"
