Cool dude...Haven't picked up any CD's recently besides Year of the Rabbit. I like a few White Stripes songs, but then again I've only heard two. I did go to Mr. K's Used Books today, and looked at their CD's, but all they had worthwhile was Devil's Workshop which I already own.
Probably the next CD I buy will be Air: 10,000 Hz. Legend as all I have now is the downloaded songs. (Hope the RICAA isn't reading!)

I got him a Columbia zipper up pull over??? Dark blue, the same color as his school...
Dude, this cat toy is so awesome. It's 2 suction cups you stick on your window and it has flexible pole that comes off of it and from that dangles an elastic black string, and tied to the bottom of that is this minature basketball looking thing, like a little nerf b-ball raibow colored, and it has feathers on it and bells. They're going crazy over it.
I need a new cat lasar, I lost mine. My cats love that damn lasar, more than mice.
Glacial is a nice person.

it's over 7 minutes long...
I can listen to that song over and over again from 9-5
dude, how come you haven't heard of band like Pavement and Granddaddy? I would've though yo would be the on telling me about them first...

It was good, Okay anyway. It sounds like South, but no one song caught my attention off the bat.
Onto the best of Tricky, this shit better be cool. Think about it, THE BEST OF Tricky.
You kow what like, it is kinda' hard to type with these

| I think my musical tastes are vastly different from most everyone on this forum, 'cause I'd never heard of Johnothan Richman, Modest Mouse, Grandaddy, and a whole crapload of other bands people have mentioned. Dunno, maybe I'm not as "cultured" as some people...or as intelligent...most of my musical interests aren't mainstream, but I just for whatever reason have not heard of about 85% of the music talked about on this forum. ?? It's weird 'cause my wife thinks that I have "out there" music taste, but compared to this board they're pretty conventional... |

He's Simple, He's Dumb, He's the Pilot is definitely a great song...Crystal Lake and Chartsandgraphs are also great. Some of the Grandaddy stuff is very cheesy tho and that puts me off.
The last show I played with The Bennies was in NYC at the end of August 2001. We were listening to the Sophtware Slump on the way out of NYC and I happened to be filming the city behind me while "He's Simple, He's Dumb, He's the Pilot" was playing in the background...you know what happened 2 weeks later (oooo...eerie).

I got Sumday and just couldn't get into it that much. Unlike other new cd's Enon's Hocus Pocus and SM's Pig Lib after a few listens I love those new CD's. I just can't get into Sumday. But lead singer Jason Lytle co-produced a band called Earlimart that has a similar sound. The album is called Everyone Down Here, but you can't find it at Best Buy I got mine at Tower Records. I love it.

I picked up the new Iggy Pop album today "Skull Ring", it's not bad yet not really all that good. I expected a lot more from new Stooges material though, they definately came off pretty weak the title track sounds like they just decided to cop the riff from Spy Hunter instead of writing something interesting.
