The phrase "no lube" is absolutely ace. I'm going to use it in every appropriate and applicable situation, starting today.
So, about this band... do you guys play Americana? But seriously, tell us more. |

Lyrics would be very nice. Do you have any mp3s?
There is a restaurant here that even when seen can not be believed: "Quaker Steak and Lube" It looks just like the 10W-30 bottle. I fear it. Or maybe loathe...
When Buckminster Fuller came to Canada, he kept asking the same question: "Have you ever really considered how much your buildings actually weigh?" --"The Big Top." |

I was reading that the day before yesterday. Don't know if that's the sole intended meaning of "no lube" however.
I imagine that it could support several layers of meaning. I do, however, primarily intend it as a curse to be invoked against people. . . a decree, if you will.

wow- when did i post this? i think i was a little...unsteady at the time... okay, steady on on the pigeon-holing and mp3-asking. may i remind you i'm 17? we do this in our free time after school! the only mp3 i know i'm on is me playing some powerchords for a friend who wanted to record a song called 'phallic monument' to send to another friend. and our 'band' has never had a full practice. i've practiced with each of them at a time, but never fully together. okay, words...i'm not sure if i can remember them. i think they went, "she was his lube donut, she was his lube donut, but then he ran away, oh why? you say, oh why, hey hey, because he was condemned....condemned... to NO LUBE!!! NO LUBE!!!" ahem.

Genius. Once you get signed, all I ask is a little shout-out in the liner notes.
(For what it's worth, I think that "ahem" should be part of the lyrics too.)
