invader zim! my friend's sister was so obsessed with that show, i got sucked in. shit, whats that dog-suited thing called? he was the best. "hey floor, make me a sandwich!!!"
and shin chan is pretty funny, and i hear he's even ruder in the japanese version, he actually goes around completely nude. my quote for him is, "what's to eat-a mamma sita?"
and whats that show, i always think of them as the grown up powerpuff girls...is it totally spies or something? i saw a funny episode where this guy got this weird ball that could make him change into each girls particular perfect boy. he charmed them all before valentines day, and the point was he was goin to dump them all that night, to get back on some girl who dumped him on the same night a previous year. well, it wa funny to watch.

GIR! indeed. i drew a picture for her once for same friend's sister, and for some reason it was singing "empty glasses" by the amps. i'd never seen invader zim before i drew that...

The kids would run around and grab games and I'd be like "No you idiots, not that game!"

I really enjoyed USA's Cartoon Express, when it was cool. They would have all sorts of kickass cartoons like the Pac-Man cartoon, Dragon's Lair, the Snorks, Smurfs...Shirttail Gang...then they went lame and eventually stopped...it was soooo good.

Yes Barto! It was Video Power. So cool that you remember it. I think the cartoon that was aired with it had its own name though.

I remember it. I don't think I watched it much. Was it part of the Banana Splits or produced by the same people?
Speed Racer had a revival on MTV in the mid 80s so we don't have to be too old to remember that.
Sid and Marty Croft did H.R. PuffnStuff, along with Lidsville and Sigmund and the Sea Monsters. I think they did other stuff that I can't think of right now.
I have a cool H.R. shirt signed by Marty. My wife got it for me because they used to be one of her accounts. Apparently Sid is a recluse now. Too many drugs maybe. (Hand Rolled PuffnStuff)

Krofft brothers also did Land of the Lost and The Bugaloos. In the mid-70s there was the "Krofft Supershow"-- they had some shorter series that were a part of that.

Earthworm Jim and the Tick were great too. Nice signature BLT. I love those Loony Toons when they'd visit all the animals in the zoo or in the wilderness and the narrator would tell us about it then the animal or bug would talk to us.
