And it was wonderful. I didn't know any of the songs except one, but it was an awesome show.
Does he always do that goofy dancing on stage? And does he normally only have a classical guitar and a drummer to accompany him? He is really good on that guitar. He played about two songs with all Spanish lyrics, but most of the songs had Latin influences anyway. I recognized the "dancing in the lesbian bar" song, which was funny. He had me laughing and smiling the whole show.
I'm definitely going to buy a couple of his albums.
p.s. - man, he wasn't THAT loud.

Heh-heh. He was only that loud in the early 70's. And, ok, he wasn't really that loud even then.
JoJo's been wonderfully goofy every time I've seen him except for the time that he had a full band. That time he looked tired. Usually it's just him and the drummer. If he's in a really good mood he'll tell lots of stories. Was he very micro-managing w/the drummer? That stands out in my mind--his constant correction of the very patient drummer. Anyway, I'm glad you had fun and I envy you!
