I am tired of the constant personal attacks and insults from some members. There is a new policy on the board, and i will not be tolerating this.
Folks who are regularly abusive will be warned by me privately. If the abuse continues, i will be locking their account for one day. Followed by a seven day lock if the abuse is continued. (See the FB FAQ in FB Chat for more details.)
This will be based on *my* judgement. I have let a lot of items slide in the past, but no more.
If YOU are feeling abused by another user, i request you respond in a respectful fashion. If you wish to resolve a conflict with another user, please do so by EMAIL.
If you do not wish to do this, please send ME a PRIVATE MESSSAGE, and i will do my best to resolve the conflict.
Please avoid these petty 'feuds' here by not responding.
Furthermore, do not respond to this topic with comments like 'i'm glad he is gone'
I'm not happy to be doing this. It is unfortunate i feel the need to respond this way, and is in no way cause for 'celebration'.
If you have any questions or comments regarding this, i would prefer it taken to private emails.

Dave seems to have a sense of humor. I would think he'd be able to differentiate between tongue in cheek and real abuse. For instance, Sheamus, if I were to call you a twatwipe, I would hope you would know that I don't really mean any personal insult, because you seem like a pretty alright fellow. Does that make sense, twatwipe?!
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Fairplay Dave, I'm pretty sure the majority of us agree and understand why you are doing this. The only problem I can see is that if someone gets blocked then they will can just log on as a new member and carry on under a different name.

You have to remember that in this modern age you are responsible for the mental states of others, even when they are certifiable. If a person feels harassed, they are harassed. It doesn't matter if you are justified or even if you express nothing at all. |
