Yuh know, Frank Black is one of the most prolifically brilliant songwriters/singers/performers alive. That much we probably all agree on. Does anyone else, besides me, feel that an online radio station that plays non-album/unreleased Frank black tracks all day and night would be a great way for the fans to hear everything without searching out individual tracks on the net. It would also help Mr. Black to receive some of the revenue that he deserves. I mean, it's a gall darn shame that this man isn't one of our country's most celebrated performers. He deserves his own radio station, and at the rate he records amazing new material, this would make much sense. I mean, which one of us wouldn't wanna hear all of the 500 tunes that he recorded for the two new albums? I'd subscribe and keep the things on continuous play! What about you? If you agree, let's petition Spinart records to do it! They seem pretty hip to the internet thingee.

Count me in for this; but could we not just get a downloadable jukebox type version?
Something like the link below but for Frank Black would be amazing, since its easy to access and is a low maintenence...
And fair enough, spinart are a small label but still...

actually, if you go to www.live365.com, there sometimes is an all Frank Black station. I came across one that was all Frank/Pixies/Breeders/Throwing Muses...sort of the boston family tree, that was really cool. |

Sadly, i don't have the bandwidth to be pumping out tunes... =(
The Tanya Donelly player is pretty cool tho. No reason Frank's company couldn't have something like that. <hint hint>

Hey, I'm actually gonna e-mail spinart records about it. I think that Spinart ought to release a monthly Mp3 download package that includes all the unreleased stuff in an mp3 format. That'd be kinda cool. And, sure, the files could be traded on the net, but so can CD's and, anyway, who the hell has so much time to waste that they are gonna sit and download 100 songs, when they could either buy it all on an mp3 CD ROM, or buy it from the company's download store for the price of any standard audio CD album. I'd rather give Frank Black and his label 20 bucks directly for the mp3's, minus the cost of the packaging and CD's and shipping and distribution. The artist would get a lot more of our money than he does now! If anyone else wants to see the same thing, then spread the word. I already went through the trouble of finding the e-mail address to which you can raise your voice! It is:
info@spinartrecords.com
It's amazing, what a couple of well-targeted e-mails can do.
