So I know a few of you guys are in gigging bands, and at least one of you is a regular at open mic night. So i was thinking we should start up a topic where forum members could plug their upcoming shows, so other members in the area might come down and show support if they got nothin' else better to do. I know you all are too cool to start such a self-promoting topic, so figured I'd do it for you. 
(maybe this would be better placed in the General Chat area?) |

Everybody in the Staffordshire area of England should come to the Talbot Hotel on the 15th September to see the Mittens. Lots of noise of a most agreeable nature shall be created

| I dont play in a band, but I do play guitar. In the last months my girlfriend and I have become Los Blips' groupies though, coincientially/indirectly through this website. We like their music and all of them are great people and I have even had the pleasure to hang out with them. Other bands have just been too fuckin' pretentious in this town and that makes them unlistenable, example of pretentious L.A. bands- silversun pickups, irving and kennedy. example of cool L.A. bands-Los Blips and Earlimart. Anyway, Los Blips will be at the Garage this wednesday, 9/10 at 10:00pm. The Garage is in LA at the corner of santa monica/virgil, the cover is $5. I will be there with my girlfriend and it would be cool if some of you can make it down. Also, if the moderator of this sight is sick of me plugging this great band because its JOhn Malta's band, let me know and I wont plug them again. I respect Los Blip's and I love their music, so I plug them but I want to respect this forum as well. But if anyone would like a Blips cd mailed to them, email me and I can dub one for you. |
