I believe the chorus that you have tabbed as C B A E is actually
C B/C A E. That is, the bass note of the C chord drops to a B but the rest of the chord remains a C. Sounds better playing with the song alteast.

Devious bastard... an ingenious trick my friend, but the tab master is on to you. He's also into you. Just FYI.

Oh and Derek, you're quickly aproaching Larry Norman territory. When you get there, leave it that way and invite the Rev. to come back to the board and see how you've repented. He'll have a Puddy-yelling-Devil's-at-the-padre type reaction and slip into a coma. Then we can pilfer his site for relgious .jpg's all we want!

And then I laughed at the thought of the rev. in that situation

you know it took me a couple minutes to realize what the hell (n'yuk n'yuk) you were talking about. Fear not, I'll be there soon.

I've listened to this song a millions times but today I JUST noticed that there's morse code in it during the first chorus, maybe in there somewhere else too?.. so does anybody know what is being tapped out??? I'm so curious.

whatchoo talkin' 'bout miguel?

I'll have to listen to that. Once I hear what you mean I'll probably know what you are talking about, but it never occurred to me there was morse code in that song.

that might work, i was thinking like an open C chord though

e 0 0
b 1 1
g 0 0
d 2 2 (or 0)
a 3 2
e x x

i think its B/C becuase the first note indicates the bass note, but regardless that above is how i played it on my song (with the 0 instead of 2 which just adds a different harmony)

hopefully that makes some sense

yeah I never heard it before and it's way down deep in the mix.. I got a dvd player with the prologic II and it was pretty clear, and I was actually in the other room when I heard it. It was the same kind of moment as when I first heard the "this ain't the planet" part in planet of sound, but it's even more subtle.

Actually, the chord is traditionally listed first, followed by (when different) the bass note. However, since B isn't part of a C chord (the notes being C,E,G,), it would have to read C7/B.

Sorry for sounding like a nerd. I was once labelled too geeky for my college Biology Club by our faculty advisor and I think the geekiness might permeate into other areas of my life.

Furthermore (doh), C7 would imply a flat 7th, so it would have to be Cmaj7/B. What an idiot I am.
