I managed to pick up this album the other day, and was wondering if it is his latest one? I'm a bit of a lazy bastard but I did manage to check Amazon to see if there was any mention of it there but there wasn't. Has anyone heard this album.... from what I have heard so far it is pretty good.

Nope, it's from the beginning of the 90's, but it was re-released recently with a bonus CD (as well as Ziggy, Aladdin Sane and some others).

In fact I don't have it... My latest Bowie purchase was Low and I have to say it beats even Scary Monsters as the best Bowie album ever. The new record is called Reality. One of the songs is used in a (very nice) ad for bottled water in France, and it doesn't sound particularly great, but it's hard to tell from such a short sample.

'Reality' according to DB is abit 'thrusty'! And it features two cover versions - 'Buy Some, Try Some' by George Harrison and Jonathan Richman's ' Pablo Picasso'. All the signs are that this is going to be a good album.

hi stuart. i do have BTWN - and denis is correct - it was released just when bowie got married (early 90s). however - it has just been reissued with a bonus CD so thats probably what you saw. the album itself is pretty good - maybe not as good as his 70s material - but there certainly are some great songs on there. as for Low - words cant describe how good that album is. stuart - you need that album fella! its great.

Cheers Bazza, I'll be sure to get my friends to bring that one over. The Bowie albums that I have are:
Live at the BBC + live disc Singles Collection BTWN Outside
Obviously he has released shitloads, but if I was going to buy three Bowie albums, which ones would you recommend (as I don't know which are great and which are not). Bare in mind this list will be sent to my friends before they come over.
