so tonight the CD book and my discman in my car were stolen. half my CD collection is gone, including some frank and a lot of pixies stuff.
over 100 CDs vamos.
the only thing stopping me from going on a killing spree is the fear of being buggered by large black men in prison. |

Oh man, that hurts. I was sad when my CB & stereo got stolen in college, but at least they didn't make off with any tunes. My condolences. |

Shittyness. Good thing RIAA is so opposed to copying CD's..otherwise they would lose out on countless 'replacement' sales.
I wonder if they give an extra cut to folks who steal CD's? |

Bogus. I can sorta empathize.
I had a set of headphones stolen at a Greyhound station. I asked some nice old guy to watch my stuff for me, he said OK, and he frickin' swiped 'em.
Then, not too long ago, someone took my wife's CD player from her car. (I mean, it was just a discman w/car kit, but still..)

When I was about 12 someone stole, like 75% of my NES games.
I guess that's in the same vein.

yeah, australian import 'under the pink' (tori amos), the rare press of 'broken' (the one WITHOUT the 3" disc, they actually printed the 3" first for 15,000 copies, then did the one with tracks 98/99 and then went back to the small disc, so the 98/99 one is more rare.)
some other rare-ish nine inch nails CDs, not a whole lot though, i've never been one to collect too many rare CDs. |

yeah this happened to me too, my headache singles, black sessions in the black case.. TOTY etc.. they broke the window with a knife somehow and cut themselves, so there was blood everywhere. The dumbass(s) could have just opened the hatchback that was unlocked. |
