Actually it was Bowie's Speed Of Life. I still don't have SMYT.

You're probably right! For some reasons I had never heard Low, I bought it last week and it's something like the best record ever. Amazing. Far better than Heroes which already was a killer album.

i couldnt agree more. warszawa is an absolutely amazing song - and yes - speed of life is fantastic too. aside from station to station its gotta be my fave bowie album.

I agree that 'Low' is a great album but then 'Heroes' and 'Lodger' have 'Joe The Lion' and 'Fantastic Voyage' which are both glorious songs...
The version of 'Breaking Glass' that's on the live album 'Stage' is mighty fine too.
Have you got 'Scary Monsters'? Cause that's a cracker and of all the songs in all the world 'It's no Game'(part 1) perhaps rocks me the most! |

Yeah! Scary Monsters is my fave, but Low sounds like an eventual silver medal. I still have to get Lodger and Young Americans and I'll have all his albums up to Scary Monsters.

very good ! FB&TC do the reid pailey (sp?) song better than he does ! the stones cover is done in classic FB&TC style. I'd have lied, cheated and maybe even stolen for this cd !
