i was on kazaa looking for any pixies stuff which i don't already have and i found a video of where is my mind. it was some anime film cut to the song. i very much doubt that this was an offical release and looked like someone had made it themself, although i don't know this for sure.
has anyone else seen it?, where did it come from? |

| I've seen it, it certainly is not an official release of any kind. Just some fans (rather unimpressive, in my opinion) work, I guess. Or Frank did it under an assumed name. But I'm gonna go with the former. Also, I dislike Dean. |

There are, for some reason, a lot of "videos" made with music put to video of anime...I downloaded a very interesting "video" of Weezer's 'Only In Dreams' set to footage of Cowboy Bebop.

Setting music to anime clips is a pretty big anime fanboy thing to do, they have conventions with competitions for it etc.
The anime seen with Where is My Mind is a series called "Neon Genesis Evangelion". Anyone who hasn't seen this series and the 2 accompanying movies needs to run out and watch it right now. Neon Genesis Evangelion is not only a great anime series, but a brilliant visual, psychological and intellectual experience that transcends it's genre into cinematic greatness.
Being a big fan of both, “Where is My Mind” is perhaps even more fitting a song to Neon Genesis Evangelion (though not based on the footage in the clip, which I don’t think does the series or song justice) than it was in “Fight Club”. It would have been great to hear it at the end of the final movie “End of Evangelion”.

The weezer msgboard ought to be destroyed and those who frequent it burned. Most of them try to hard to be cool or not as the case may be.
This is quite easily the best music forum I've ever seen in terms of order and everyone being respectful and so on and so forth. Good work those who run it and Frank for having such nice fans. |

This is a very nice board, I must say... But yeah, the point of the weezer board died out in late '02. You should've been there in '01.
