| Hey guys, the poor thing is trying to "work harder" this week. Thus his noticable absence. I say enjoy, it won't last. I'm sure he'll straggle by this afternoon, and then you'll all wish you hadn't encouraged him. His boss is always leaning over his shoulder these days, so posting is tough. What they need to do is make a program that makes your screen look one way from a far, or from an angle, and up close it looks like whatever you're really doing. So when someone peeks their head in they see, in my case, an Excel chart or MapInfo, and I see good ol' fb.net. Now that's a million dollar idea! |

You gotta alt tab it, Carolyn. If someones coms by, just have your "work" window open and press alt + tab, and it will switch to the other window. It's a very subtle way of switching programs with out clicking. I just always have me fingers ready for alt tab, and if someone comes in, I can switch and turn around and look at them in one smooth motion. Sweet....
And ramona, you'll see Dean as soon as you get that "sweet patoot" to Saskatoon... actually, we plan do visit bean town someday, hopefully when it coincides with an FB and John Williams concert. See you in two thousand never! |

Thank-you, it's such an honour not only to be congratulated before I've even hit 1000, but also to have my life and/or work discussed at length as well as my absense. I'm glad somebody noticed. :)
Of course, the tribute CD burned me out slightly, and I've been trying to get the other balls rolling in my life up to speed, so the FB.Net appearances have dipped for the moment (plus the fact that I have done almost no work this past week and suspicions are being raised). :)
Ramona, if John Williams is ever playing with the pops (obviously he'll be busy from about now until next May, but), please let us know and you can count on a visit. |
