this is related to my cross-country road trip thread..
i've reached that point right now, as we all do from time to time, where i've completely maxed out on all my music.. i NEED some new music ESPECIALLY before i go on this long ass road trip..
over the weekend i bought the Rolling Stones "More Hot Rocks" compilation, which i'm fucking loving.. admittedly, i don't own that much Stones. and i'm finally asking myself, "why?"..
can anyone give me their top ten ranking or something??
i have Satanic Magesties, Exile On Main Street, Hot Rocks, and now More Hot Rocks..
what should i get next? (think road trip).. |

| Exile, Beggar's Banquet, Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers, Goat's Head Soup. Considering what you already own, get Beggar's. FYI, with the omission of just one track, Beggar's and Let It Bleed will burn to a single 80 min cdr. |

Sticky Fingers is fucking GREAT. "Sister Morphine" out-VU's the VU without even trying. "Dead Flowers" has to be the best country song I've ever heard. And "Brown Sugar"? Oww!

Get Yer Ya Ya's Out is a great live album as well

it's settled then.. i'll get Sticky Fingers, Let It Bleed and Beggars Banquet (already have Exile)..
