I do not have the tickets because none were issued but I can tell you this place is so small that I was sitting at a table not more than 5 feet from the stage the food was really good too. Sadly, I live where Frank Makes very few stops:
1. Fall '94 Jackson, MS at Hal & Mal's (w/ Rev. Horton Heat)...had to go in for curfew just as Frank took the stage.
2. 1/29/99 Oxford, MS at Proud Larry's (w/ Reid Paley)...got to spend quite a while talking to FB and he played Superabound per my request
3. 3/8/03 New Orleans, LA at House of Blues (great show by the catholics but only got to speak to FB for a second).

I'm envious of all the people. I saw him 5 times - I guess it is not bad for someone based in Europe either

(First ever, and oh, so great. strangely, it's exactly a year and a day before I saw Lou Reed, also in hamburg :-)

Good although the set list was almost identical. The crowd actually moshed, which it didn't do in the Hamburg show. The only time I heard him do 'Speedy Marie'

One day after my 20th birthday, I got to hear Frank do 'Monkey Gone to Heaven' and dedicate 'Skeleton Man' to me.

I don't need the Gigography to remind me THAT date. Best show ever. Long, wonderful. He finsihed with REMAKE REMODEL.

Annoying venue, with really bad lightning. He did do some cool songs, though, lots of obscure-ish stuff, for that time at least, and 7 Pixies songs. A really great encore of 'Oddballs' 'Dance the Manta Ray' and 'If it takes all night' - alas, the last show yet :-(((( |

Only started my FB craze in the past couple years. Haven't been to many shows, but always looking out for them to come to town. Here is my humble list of attended shows:
May 23, 2001 - San Juan Capistrano, CA, Coach House
(with Rich Gilbert - "fu manchu" and "the swimmer" were treats)
November 21, 2001 - Los Angeles, CA, The Mint
(mostly-acoustic show with Morris Tepper, E.D. Feldman - fun show but bizarre - dinner theatre? - was sitting right in front eating, felt silly - heard "jane the queen of love" first time here and some others)
March 21, 2002 - Santa Ana, CA, Galaxy
(great show! can't remember if this or the Nov. 21 show was the last time i heard the shrimp song, always introduced as "a very serious song"... what was this song? i wish it had made it to an album or makes it on a future release)
July 20, 2002 - Pomona, CA, Glass House
(small sweaty secondary room in a small and sweaty enough venue, but fun - mike watt opened - i live a few blocks from the glass house - FB&C were practically in my back yard!)
April 22, 2003 - Los Angeles, CA, El Rey
(perhaps my favorite show yet, except for the guy in front of me - Rich Gilbert was back! woohoo! hadn't seen him since my first show)
