Since Derek is ignoring my emails to see if he wants to use this, I'll just post it. I think it's fairly accurate.

D C Bb
There’s an ivy crawling on my gate, I stayed up late

e--------------

*repeat all this for second part of first verse then,*

E C G# A E
Monsieurs at nine, that is my promise have some wine

A
Please, don’t run away

E C G# A E
Madame’s at nine, may be honest have some wine

Please, don’t run away

E F# A
Well I thought I’d take a chance

E B
and forget about the states

E F# A
Ya I thought I’d gravitate

E B
to the hills of central France

It repeats this a whole lot more with many more wonderful lyrics. The end is simply the madames at nine part again, and the very end is E then A back and forth a few times ending on E. I think this is my favorite of the new batch. Can’t wait ‘till September.

Right. What about the lyrics now? I made an attempt, correct me if I'm wrong:

MASSIF CENTRALE

I've your number if you want to call Massif Centrale
There's an ivy crawling on my gate
I stay up late

Soon ??? where I play ???
Where I lay my roots
Now a clock is stopping ???
She's taking me

Monsieurs at nine
That is my promise
Have some wine please don't run away
Madam's at nine
May be honest
Have some wine please don't run away

But I thought I'd take a chance
And forget about the States
Yeah I thought I'd gravitate
To the hills of Central France

And so I left the world below
And into the rocks I climbed
And now I'm living in the poles
But I'm looking for the sign

That's the sign
Of your love behaviour
That's the sign
That I'm looking for

When I see you at the movies
And I see you at the stores
And if I stare a little more
But that's because you move me

And I can see it in your eyes
And I can hear it when you talk
Darling when I see you walk
Oh you look so very nice

That's the sign
Of your love behaviour
Yeah that's the sign
I'm looking for

(x2)

It sure is cold here in the summer
And I haven't got a number
But the sky is very bright
And the sun is very clear

And I can smell it in the wind
Cause I guess that it's the time
And I saw the way you grinned
Yeah, you were givin' me the sign

That's the sign
Of your love behaviour
Yeah that's the sign
I'm looking for

(x2)

Monsieurs at nine
That is my promise
Have some wine please don't run away
Madam's at nine
May be honest
Have some wine please don't run away
Please don't run away
No no no, please don't run away

MASSIF CENTRALE (newly corrected based upon mp3)

I've no number if you want to call Massif Centrale
There's an ivy crawling on my gate
I stay up late

Sleep in gardens where I play lute
Where I lay my roots
Now the clock is stopping faithfully
She's taking me

Monsieurs at nine
That is my promise
Have some wine please don't run away
Madam's at nine
May be honest
Have some wine please don't run away

But I thought I'd take a chance
And forget about the States
Yeah I thought I'd gravitate
To the hills of Central France

And so I left the world below
And into the rocks I climbed
And now I'm living in the cold
But I'm looking for the sign

That's the sign
Of her love behaviour
That's the sign
That I'm looking for

and I've seen in the movies
And I've seen you at the store
And if I stare a little more
that's because you move me

And I can see it in your eyes
And I can hear it when you talk
Darling when I see you walk
you seem so very nice

That's the sign
Of your love behaviour
Yeah that's the sign
I'm looking for

(x2)

It sure is cold here in the summer
And I haven't got a number
But the sky is very bright
And the sun is very clear

And I can smell it in the wind
Cause I guess that it's the time
And I saw the way you grinned
Yeah, you were givin' me the sign

That's the sign
Of your love behaviour
Yeah that's the sign
I'm looking for

(x2)

Monsieurs at nine
That is my promise
Have some wine please don't run away
Madam's at nine
May be honest
Have some wine please don't run away
Please don't run away
No no no, please don't run away
