The show was great!!! Pinwheel was a solid opening act and David Lovering was good as well with his Scientific Phenomenalism. Frank and the boys were as musically tight as ever last night and any show that opens up with four Pixies numbers is alright in my book. The fact that I was closer to Frank than I am to this computer I'm typing on definitely added to the enjoyment. If you've never been to The Coach House, the tables in the front actually touch the stage and during the show, one of Frank's amps was actually on the corner of our table. It was freakin' great! Sorry about my over-excited state. All of the songs sounded great and as you can see from the list, a nice mix of songs. The six songs from the upcoming "Show Me Your Tears" album were excellent. Can't wait for the album. Thanks for checking out my post. :-)
was monkey gone to heaven the full band or pedal steel version?

as breathing flows my mind secedes...
It was basically the classic version, but there was some pedal steel guitar (and obviously no complementary soft female background vocal). It was not the version where the lead guitar is pedal steel. It sounded great...nice and full sound.

FYI--we recorded the show; I'll hear it later today and, if all is OK, it will be available for download on HearItAgain.net on Monday (mid-late afternoon EST).
