Don't know anything about that fall from "grace", I personally think that'd be pretty darn funny, but here's a scary bit for ya - she apparently toured with Steven Malkmus back in 2000. I never expected to see a Pavement/Elastica connection. Sorry if it's old news, but it weirded me out a little - story here: http://www.nme.com/news/11544.htm

Giddy Motors!
Quite a lot of bands listed here, eh? But no mention of Giddy Motors from anyone... (unless I missed it...)
I seen 'em in Whelans in Dublin and they kicked serious arse...
Their 1st release was an 8 track affair, and they've been recorded by Mr Albini... (hmm, sounds kinda familiar, eh)... But they're more jazz/punk kind of nutters... Bloody good drummer aswell... |

The Clash They might be giants Violent Femmes Smashing Pumpkins Tom Waits Firehose Helmet Bjork Tori Amos Frank Zappa Iron Maiden Social Distortion Primus Tool Rush Pink Floyd King Crimson Yes Elvis Costello Metallica Grateful Dead Ramones Beastie Boys Chilli Peppers Fishbone Concrete Blonde Bad Brains Victoria Williams Devo The Cure The Police Sonic Youth Jimi Hendrix Stevie Ray Vaughan Indigenous Microwave Dave and the Nukes Man or Astro-man Dinosaur Jr. Bob Marley Portishead Led Zeppelin Shonen Knife Obviously the 5 band thing was thrown out a while ago so I just went for it. These are some all time faves, but currently I am only interested in Pixies related I have all the breeders regular release plus an ep "divine Hammer" I have alot of Pixies and desperately need all the rest I have some Frank Black and need all the rest I need the amps and Kelly Deal 6000 I think of nothing else most of the time Making this list makes me think I should listen to some of my other favorites again. Thanks for letting me vent for a while this is my first post
