First off I think the mans a genius and you all should check out his books (crime novels with a Seinfeld-like twist), albumns (Flying Burrito Brothers meets Tom Waits) and website www.kinkyfriedman.com (if any of you are Bukowski/Hunter S Thompson fans then its a similar kind of groove).
You can experience a small sample of his work on BBC4 tonight, at 9.30 GMT. I appear at one point to ask a question and generally look stunning.
So there you go & I'm off to play some Carly Simon...
