I just wanted to say thanks. It's great to be able to come here the day after a show and read about it (and all the other stuff).
So thanks:
Dave Noisy Jim McLuckie Mark Gibbons Derek Olson Suzanne 'Zan' Tamm Gavin Bacner
& anybody else I missed from behind the scenes and the other posters.
Hey! This is like the Oscars except I didn't win an award.
"This post doesn't just belong to me; it belongs to all of us. Ever since I was little I used to stare at my Commordore 128 and dream about posting, yes...posting to a web forum. And now (sob) here I am. Thankyousomuch."

Heh-heh. I'd almost forgotten about Commodores or that I'd ever owned one. I feel about a million years old right now.
Hey, overlords! Speaking of web team cred, is the web team listing ever going to be updated to include The King and I? |

Honestly, this site/forum is just brilliant. It's really satisfying to me to find other people who appreciate Frank Black's music as much as I do...out of all my friends, only ONE is a fan and that can sometimes be frustrating. So it's cool to come here and look at people's topics and comments, show reviews, etc.
Right on everybody. |

Yes, is a v.good site and I have found lovely friends here who are now an intensely important part of my life. That is not to be taken for granted, so thank you, Mr. Noisy. |

You know, speaking of Commadores and "one day dreaming," I remember when I was about 6 or 7 and we got our first computer, a Commadore 64. Sometimes I would just sit at the command prompt and pound away at the keys, pretending I was one of those people in the movies or on TV, like those computer whizzes. And here I am today...dreams can come true! ;) I'm glad you enjoy the site. While I wish it were more of a complete site rather than a message board-centered site, I still can't complain. |
