in case you didn't know but would want to, it looks like these guys are starting to tour here and there.. mostly in California at the moment..

hopefully someone can go to all these shows i'm missing (being temporarily out of LA) and i can live vicariously through you..

at least i get to see the Flaming Lips next month.. right here in lovely Baltimore..

i been meanin' to get out of Hollywood.

I've only listened to Sophtware Slump, and I've had a love/hate relationship with the albums (some of it is really good, some of it is really cheesy to me at times), but I saw them open up for Coldplay in 2001 (I think) and they put on a really good show. It was definitely a show...they had so much shit all over the stage, but the high point to it was the movie screen behind them...I thought that was amazing, and it really made the show.

everyone needs to go to one of these shows. they're touring with pete yorn (yawn), but it's worth it. these guys are amazing.
