Um..back to the prolactins.. I here you Sarah, doctors are idiots for the most part. They know a whole bunch of NOTHING. They get like 6hrs or less of nutritional/dietary training on average in the years they spend in skool, and i feel this is one of the strongest areas for preventing CVD, many cancers, osteoporosis, diabetes and a myriad of other illnesses.
But what would they do if everyone were healthy? I think some European countries reward doctors who's patients visit less often!! That's how it should be. Make money from healthy people, not sick ones. How ass-backwards is our system, eh?
Yeah, it's all the sick people with the spare time and big bucks.

| I love going to the doctor when I'm ill and being told I've caught a virus. No kidding?!?! Why else would I be sick? And then they recommend rest and cough syrup or something else generic and you just want to say, "You went to school HOW long to be able to tell me that?". But that has little (read: nothing) to do with pornography, so I defer. |

Wow, bring on the ignorance! So doctors haven't got a clue what they're doing, eh? Good, next time I'll be going to my local shaman. Or maybe I'll just ask you to prescribe a treatment, superdoc!

... the above was not intended as a blanket statement of all doctors, but it's been my experience that the ones I visit tend to have slept through med-school. |
