does anyone know anything muscially about this muddy waters guy?
his name was mentioned in mojo in march. 100 artists were interviewed, of them our very own frank. everyone was asked to mention a hero/ inspiration. frank's inspiration was iggy pop, iggy's was keith richards, and keith's was muddy waters.
i like frank, iggy, and the stones, so maybe i'll like muddy waters

Muddy Waters is a blues legend. Guitarist/singer commonly credited with "electrifying" the blues. The Stones took their name from Muddy's "Rollin'Stone". Yes, you should go and listen to some Muddy. It's good for the soul. I would go with the Chess boxset, or any "best of" collection. |
