its ashame when i saw him last tour i dont think he played one song off devils workshop, maybe whiskey in your shoes, and he played like 2 songs from BLD, kinda ashame since there were plenty off those albums i wanted to hear, like the scene as you mentioned. I have a live recording of End of Miles it sounds awesome. Id also like to hear chip away boy.

I am not very good at picking the top of anything with Frank (as I am Switzerland)...! I want them to play it all! I have to say that there are some songs that are always fun to hear live. Jane, Velvety, Gouge Away with many others.
I am in search of that never heard live song (or songs) like St. Francis or His Kingly Cave...that list goes on forever.
Do you think we will have any surprises this go round?? I am ready. Out of the 3 shows we are going to which is going to be the creme de la creme???  Athens and Atlanta were great because they were different. It was like when Athens was over we just had to wait a day to hear the continuation of the show in Atlanta. Yes he did hit the few staples but hearing Western Star one place and Bartholomew and Heloise at another with all the others was muy fantastico  !!!
Ok enough of my babbling! How about three shows with all different songs...do they have enough in their repetoire???
By the way what number are these shows...6,7,&8..or am I getting ahead of myself?

| Well, we're definately not seeing him @ the start of their adventures on 2003 tour. They're all about mid-way through. I know your doubts about Col., but you must keep in mind that it will be the only actual w-end show we will see. That's the one I'm really curious about. It's gotta wear down a man touring @ a pace like this, trying to give a great show every time. By the way, how old is he now? I know Kim D. is around 42. I"m feeling kinda foggy.......caffiene ....isn't....working..Anyway, the 3 I'm hoping to hear (in succession, of course) are: Heloise,End of MIles,Bullet. I chose real possibilities. My ultimate (or one of ) w/b Hey, but no, never happen. |

I think Frank's turning 38 this year. Funny how Kim's a few older than him, yet she's still playing overtly "alt" rock or whatever.

Songs I really, really, really wanna hear live:
Velvety. I think it'll rock. I bet it will rock the roof off everyone.
Cactus. I heard the Bowie version and felt like I had to throw up. I need a Frank Black version as compensation.
California Bound - maybe my favourite song on BLD, I imagine a punked up version, with killer guitars.
Thelossocracy - I will kill everyone who were fortunate enough to see THAT live.
HIs Kingly Cave - probably my favourite on both new albums.
And - this will never happen
In Heaven. Wouldn't that just be a killer. I can't even imagine what hearing that at the end of a long, hard show would do to me. I'd bet I'll be walking in the streets screaming and than the men in white will take me away - but we'll never know. |

| Hey. I'm feelin kinda rough. I have totally lost the day. I've been online, had too much caffiene, going through all my FB cd's, wishin I had Bossa Nova (hint hint). I truly think that this winter is gonna get the best of me. The only thing I really have to look foreward to are the shows. Frank's bringing spring w/ him. |

| Thanks Lea!! It's March, Only 20 more days. I'm going today to have the finishing touches put on the FB tatoo on my back. It's life-size,you know, so it's taken a while. I hope he likes it. He did't respond to the box of used show underwear I sent him---maybe this will catch his attention! |

We need to find out where the in store place is. I will look for it on the internet. This week has SUCKED! I am ready for Uncle Frank! No new word from Bohemoth (sp). Only one more week! Is it spring yet????
