I was at the Leadmill gig, and managed to get on stage with the man.... that has to be my favourite gig of all time I think, as it was the first time I'd seen Frank and because it blew me away.... especially at the end, Ive never seen an audience applaud so much, and the smile on Franks face...... fuck, I need to get a copy of that gig.... does anyone have a recording of the Sheffield Leadmill gig (Feb 17th (i think) 2001) that they would be willing to trade????

| I agree Stuart it was also the best gig I have ever been to. Afarid I don't have a recording though. Hopefully he'll paly the venue again. I'd seen the Pixies previously, but Frank and the Catholics rocked. |

yeah, damn right, I'd never been to the Leadmill before so I was delighted to see no security in front of the stage. Man Sheffield is such a cool city, I miss that place.

| Is there any word on the Banff Alberta show? Tickets went on sale for Calgary and Deadmonton on the weekend but nobody can help me find where he is playing in Banff or how to get tickets. Any help would be appreciated. |

On ticketmaster.ca they only had Edmonton, Calgary and Winnipeg listed so far... |

Word has it from the dark Hollywood streets that FB and Band finished 20 songs or so with producer Stan Ridgway and engineer Ben Mumphrey at Frank's Hollywood studio cavern before they took off on this new tour. Van Dyke Parks was
also involved as well as other musical musicals....this new album should be a hum -dinger. If I can still say that word...

I'm looking forward to the Beachland Ballroom. Heard it's a nice place.

Beachland Ballroom is a nice place. I saw him there 4.20.2001 And he even stuck around to meet us all afterwards. The Catholicas all chatted it up with my wife who was pregnant at the tims. (Our daughter loves Frank Black Probably because it was the first music she ever heard...) He even gave me a big bear hug. I wish I could go see him tomorrow.. alas finances are going to keep me at home this year
