Buy this book immediately. I'm about 60 pages in, and it's one of the best novels I've ever read. Seriously.

I'll be by the pool, playing with my guns.

Sounds interesting, I'll check it out. Thanks.

It's kind of like Memento but much more surreal. This novel plays by its own rules, a total mind-fuck. But Hall's style makes it fun and hard to put down.

amazon.com could probably give you a better synopsis than I, especially because I haven't finished the book yet, something that'll probably happen this weekend!!!

This sounds like Memento brought to novel?

"Now you're officially my woman. Kudos. I can't say I don't envy you."

If you read this book, I think you might agree that it deserves its own thread. Seriously.

And you know...I didn't think about Rorsarch test. Interesting. Let me know what you think.

Hey. We should get a Book Club forum on here. Not just a thread but an entire room.

That sounds interesting. Oh! and I just 'got' the title. Is it supposed to
sound like Rorschach test? I'm going to try to find this book, misterwoe. Thanks
for the suggestion!

The writer is Steven Hall, a first-time author. It's about a guy who wakes up and can't remember anything, but his previous self sends cryptic letters as he tries to piece together his past and what REALLY happened. Things start to get very weird aroung page 60. I've got a good read ahead of me.

It's like House of Leaves meets David Lynch -- but better.

The way the book is written reminds me of my last couple of mushroom trips. It's really good.
