hehe, I just uploaded a version of cactus I recorded...it has a lead and acoustic part added, haha. It sounds alright. Much better than the Hangwire, in my opinion. Let me know if you want to use it or not.

'Subbaculture' and 'Levitate Me' are too cool. I wish I had done something more original. Perfume and Cigarettes must be smoking "special" cigarettes...I think I may have nightmares. |

Go to ftp.frankblack.net, enter the login/password info (through your ftp client, of course) (well, you can even do it through Interent Explorer), and look in the folder called "Hey - A Pixies Tribute". All the golden booty is there. |

It's going to be released tomorrow in the FTP. The A-sides are going to be all nice and cleaned up (mastered) and will sound great. The B-sides should sound good, too, mine kinda sucks...okay...it really sucks...really really....haha..but the others should be good. There are going to be tons of songs...yummy.

haha, yes, I know that picture sucks...I couldn't find a generic "hungry homer" picture so I just edited one really quickly, hehehe.

You should release all of the B-Sides ahead of time to get some drool going...then you can release the main course. It will let us digest them easier. No one likes constipation, especially when it comes to the pixies. Hehehe

No complaints, actually, I'm just happy I was able to still access everything long enough to save what's most important. I've been thinking of reformatting and starting over anyway, so now I'm pretty much forced to. I just hope that the hard drive lasts until next week because I certainly don't have time right now to start doing that.

Well, I've deleted all sorts of "replaceable" stuff and backed up everything having to do with this tribute plus a little bit of personal stuff, so all is well. Just means another couple hundred bucks to spend this Christmas. :(
This time, though, I'm buying two 80 gig drives. Screw 30 + 60.
