Most of the time it only works when I'm searching Archived threads.

Active topics always time out.

I can use the search function no problem. But sometimes I forget who started what topic. If I remember the name of the topic and put in "Subject only", the search function works like a charm. So Dave, I request that you keep the Snitz Search.

hmm..maybe i'll pop a Google box on there instead of the Snitz search!

Even the guys who programmed this thing seem to have no idea why it times out. It's a variable i can set, but no matter what i do, it times out after about 40 seconds...bizarre.

Yeah, I have never successfully been able to use the Search function. But once I did a Google search for McDave and found a thread I started. Ha!

You're not the only one. It's easier to use Google. Just include the following (without the quotes) in your search:
"site:forum.frankblack.net"
