I get this error whenever I try and search the forum

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e31'

You're not the only one. It's easier to use Google. Just include the following (without the quotes) in your search:
"site:forum.frankblack.net"

Yeah, I have never successfully been able to use the Search function. But once I did a Google search for McDave and found a thread I started. Ha!

hmm..maybe i'll pop a Google box on there instead of the Snitz search!

Even the guys who programmed this thing seem to have no idea why it times out. It's a variable i can set, but no matter what i do, it times out after about 40 seconds...bizarre.

I can use the search function no problem. But sometimes I forget who started what topic. If I remember the name of the topic and put in "Subject only", the search function works like a charm. So Dave, I request that you keep the Snitz Search.

Most of the time it only works when I'm searching Archived threads.

Active topics always time out.
