I don't THINK this has been posted elsewhere. And since there hasn't been news posted since 01/17, I figure this might be news to others as well. I accidentally discovered this 15 minutes ago in iTunes....

Brank_Flack Posted - 12/28/2006 : 22:03:20

Is it pointless asking if there is anything new on the cd issue?

Good stuff. At least people can buy them again for now even if it isn't the CD's we all want.

They're finally back on iTunes UK! This is great, downloading as we speak. :)

No more dropping acid onto a slab of summer sausage before bedtime for me!

Daisy Girl Posted - 08/23/2006 : 22:05:37
it would be nice if it was to be released in cd form at some point. i think one of the reasons that it hasn't gotten more notice is that it was just released on itunes.
Erebus Posted - 08/23/2006 : 20:55:43
This reminds me of that day I discovered those Traci Lords magazines, post-pre-adult-debacle - you know what I mean, so I sucked them up like a hoover but when I went back the next day the man said he didn’t know what I was talking about, wink wink, so we laughed and joked, but the world and the man and the woman, they knew it was a candy apple nipple type thing. Go figure.

Cult_Of_Frank Posted - 08/23/2006 : 20:07:45
Well, I'd love to hope you're right but I've been bugging Ken about this for a while and I'm sure he'd tell me if something was in the pipe or certainly if it had already been released...

They looked very official. The same artwork as on itunes and shrinkwrapped in the new section. The store was Homers in Lincoln Nebraska. I've checked Homers' website but to no avail. Perhaps I should head back in and ask one of those douche-bags behind the counter. Who knows if their response will be audible between the bursts of pretentious chuckling and eye-rolling.

The memory seems too vivid to be of dream

Afraid you were either dreaming or else looking at burnt CDRs. :/

I hope that too, I couldn't buy it beacause the f***ing itunes can't sell songs to Chile. I have all the CD's of Frank Black including Oddballs and i waiting listen them, since the albums were released.

let's pray...
benji Posted - 08/23/2006 : 14:59:56
lets hope that you weren't dreaming....

Please redirect me if this is old news,
but I was in my local record store two weeks ago and saw a copy of both Snake Oil and One More Road For The Hit. There was one copy of each and six copies of Honeycomb. I had never heard of either collection before, but had no money at the time. Naturally when I returned the next day they were gone.

Did I dream this?

Daisy Girl Posted - 08/14/2006 : 19:21:58
I really really like this... It was a really really cool way for me to hear all these songs that were new to me. It's one of those things where I got it from itunes and the forgot about it because I was busy but then really went back and was amazed.....
mikaelp75 Posted - 08/14/2006 : 17:29:48
First and hopefully last time I legally download something for the price of an album but with so-so sound and no covers, but boy o boy am I glad I did it. Great, great collections. Dog Gone must be the best cd single of all time.

[EDIT] - Sorry, wrong thread.

No developments but we'll be posting it in the news if/when I assure you.

Sorry to be pushy.. but any developments?
Schitzophonic Posted - 07/07/2006 : 17:20:25
Wrong indeed. I was a bit late but there hasn't been any of Frank's stuff on there for months.

eMusic would be great if you could sort something out.. anything would be great as long as it's actually available to the UK.
pixiestu Posted - 07/07/2006 : 17:15:28
I got it off UK itunes when it was released but now it seems there's no trace of Frank's solo/Catholics work on there. That's just wrong! Especially when it was an itunes exclusive, wasn't it?

Cult_Of_Frank Posted - 07/07/2006 : 17:10:24
Really? Let me investimigate with the proper authorities or at least see if I can get it put on eMusic. I way prefer them to iTunes anyway.

It's all well and good wanting a CD release, but this still hasn't been put on the UK iTunes yet. What are we supposed to do?

Actually, I'm still trying to unravel DW and BLD. I'm gonna have to sit this one out for a bit.

Frank is very good to his fans. He'll never let up on you if you like his music. Don'tcha love that work ethic? Just as refreshing as his material. Fuckin' solid man, Frank is. I'm sure he doesn't read all of these other postings but, thanks Charles for trying so hard all the time.

There, I said it.

How in the hell do you guys keep up with Chuck? I still haven't got done loving the shit out of SMYT. Honeycomb is still in need of more of my undivided attention. Sheesh!

hey guys, we appreciate all the responses, but why don't we move them over to the new podcast thread, as to not deter people from discussing the new b-sides comps.

Excellent Brian (should've been Pearl;) and Dean, listening just now. How do you feel about the podcast XML feed being given out beyond the confines of this forum? I assume it's ok, but thought I'd ask.

Great job guys! Very nicely done, especially for the first one of hopefully many to come. I love the trombone on the new tune. It's been a great week to be a Frank fan. I guess it always is though...
