Did you get my message the other day? I assume you did but are just being your usual self. Anyways If you have time in the coming week I have something for you to pick up. Other than that, I have nothing to say to you. I don't want anything to do with you anymore.
I kept fooling myself. I kept thinking that one day you'd realise that you missed me. I kept hoping that you'd realise that you did care. Instead of just saying it. I kept wondering why you'd want some dumb blond 17 year old rather than me. I kept thinking about how much I wanted to touch you, and kiss you, and hear your voice. I kept second guessing myself and letting you back in my bedroom in hopes that you would fall madly in love with me. I kept thinking that I could be happy with you. I kept forgetting the way you made me feel when we were going out. I remember the good times. I remember your perverted jokes and sayings. Pretty much anything that came out of your mouth. I remember how you'd try to tackle me in Blockbuster. I remember how you smelt after work. I remember your big blue eyes. I'd tell you "Don't call me anymore" In hopes that you would realise you'd lost me and try to get me back. I look outside my window when I hear a van pass-by thinking that you might be missing me as much as I miss you. I remember how nice it felt to have your arms wrapped around me in the night. Even though 10 mins later you'd grunt and turn over. I remember that I used to feel so good when we went out and I was the envy of all the dumb broads in the bar.
Then I remember how painful it was when the only thing I could think of when I was in that hospital bed was the fact that you weren't there. I remember that you'd constantly ignore me, or belittle me, or treat me like your fucking maid. And I did it...I dealt with it because I loved you and figured one day that you'd realise that you had a one of a kind girl that wanted you in return. I remember that night that I sat up crying because I thought you had gotten in an accident. I remember how selfish you were. I remember that her name is Krista. I remembered that I gave my heart to you, and you never really wanted it. I realise that you are still a kid. I realise that you won't love me.
I remember all the other people in my life that I have loved. and I realise that I can get over you too.
I realise you probably won't even read this.
I realise I don't care.
Bye Frank. Enjoy all the pussy you get, hey who knows maybe one day you'll get some chick pregnant and have to get married.
Have a good life.
And with all these things that I remember, you remember that I did love you at one time. At least you'll have that in your lonely years to come. when you finish stepping all over hearts.
Love, Alicia
THE SICK ROSE
O rose, thou art sick! The invisible worm, That flies in the night, In the howling storm,
Has found out thy bed Of crimson joy, And his dark secret love Does thy life destroy. -William Blake |

oh i sent it baby. I don't like to let things rest. I'm impulsive...If I feel a certain way, I let it be known...so I don't regret it later. |

No need for violence floop, I find just letting the air out of the tires suffices.
I, personally, wouldn't send it, be it all true. I wouldn't want to give anyone the satisfaction.
(I didn't see Alicia's response before, any response?)

Oh, it just sounds like this person will just add it to their already inflated ego.
Floop, you get the same kind of hiss by just pushing on that knobby thingamajiggy. ;)

I sent a similar letter once and later regretted it. But then I'm a guy, and we usually do the wrong thing in such situations. |

I had an Ex one time, we only dated for a short while, and she and her roomate threw eggs on my car, smashed in a window, and tied raw fish to my antenna and smeared fuck you with lipstick all over the windows.
I sure am glad I broke up with that retard.
ColdHeart, I don't know what I think about that letter, so I can't comment. I like Floop's solution, however.

Cold heart, I am sorry someone left your heart so cold. I thought your leatter was very touching. Great imagry... actually the best break up letter I've read.
I think the a main weakness of those letters I've read from friends is that they go on for 10 or 12 pages. Short and sweet is better.
At least for me those letters I used to write to myself-- in poetry. It was more for me to get those feelings of betrayal out... very thereputic at some level.
Yeah LBF... I have had two two total psychos... similar in that stalkish way... that stuff sucks...it's not fun having to call the police when people break into your house...thank goodness for good neighbors! The other psycho showed up to my place pounding on my door in a tornado watch... demanding to know why I canceled our second date . It thought that fine human being would knock my door down.
Thank goodness for my husband and I don't have to deal with psychos any more. |

I think it's quite effective, probably because it is poetic.
Your first name is Alicia and that's a good name. I like girl names that begin with "A." I half-met this one chick named "Avalon" and I thought that was the greatest name. I helped her at my work once but haven't seen her since. I was feeling the vibes too. We were talkin' and I complimented her first name after I saw what it was on her credit card application.
Story irrelevant? Yes. But, your name does begin with "A." Is 22 too young for you?

It doesnt matter if you believe it or not, Its still going to be there at the back of your mind wondering if its true or not...Plus it stings when she says it too. Its one of my favourites actually. Particularly 'its the smallest I have ever had '

Really, you're an a-girl guy, too?! I thought I was the only one. Actually, Mike, myself, and another friend went through about two years where - strictly by coincidence, everyone we were interested in had a name starting with 'a'. Ashley, Amanada, Amy, etc...
On topic, there are some changes I might've made to the letter along the lines of what Carolyn was saying, but it's sent and if it's what you truly feel, then you really can't do it wrong. Good on 'ya for letting go of him finally. Is this the same idiot that didn't come to the hospital when you were there?

This can all be summed up with three simple words; Fuck you asshole!
Short and sweet hey. Its the exclamation point that brings it home.
Ahaha, then go let the air out of the tires, the level of 'assoholicness' will determine whether air is just let out or if actually slashing is necessary ;)

you have to actually slash if you want to really get the message across.
but then, coming home to a burnt down house gets the message across equally well.
