I have 2 months to find a new job, a new home and enough money to come up with first and last for a new place and last month's rent for my old place. I don't even thing I've ever seen that much money.

| A flower I had been growing since before thanksgiving started to bloom last night. Today it fell over and three out of four for of the buds/flowers broke off. The one that's left it's all mangled looking. Now that sucks. RIP little flowers. |

What kind of flower was it, Daisy? All of my amaryllis did that last year, I think I watered it too much. I ended up shelling out $30 for emergency plant stakes (and then promptly lost them), which totally sucked.

And don't forget Amaryllis and other bulbs (like lilies, hyancinth, tulips etc.) can be regrown over and over again.
They just need about a 3 month resting period in a dark cool dry place in between growing.
The more you grow a bulb the better it gets too, although you may have to separate the little bulbettes that start to grow on the main bulb after awhile. (Those can be grown too.)
