how do you feel about Jessica Simpson being cast as Daisy Duke? good casting choice, or not? if not, who do you think would be a better choice?

I think they should slow down on re-making everything that was cool back in the day.

they probably won't cast him, but Owen Wilson is the perfect choice for Bo (even though he's in every other movie right now)

i totally agree. i think it's cool if they re-make them, but they almost always do them wrong. the only good 80's tv show movie i can think of was THE BRADY BUNCH movie.. they had the right idea.
i just hope they don't do KIGHT RIDER before i get to it; my dream project.

Why do they keep remaking everything is my question? Are they really that out of ideas?
I think Jessica Simpson is an okay choice. As long as she doesn't sing.

it's a comination of being out of ideas and studios just wanting to play it safe with something that will make money. most of the other ones have made money (especially CHARLIE'S ANGELS) so, it's safe to assume that a movie like this will make money. which is all they care about. it's not about the art (like my KNIGHT RIDER movie will be)

i think for Boss Hogg it's a tie between Danny DeVito (excellent choice) and Jon Polito
Billy Bob is also an excellent choice, but i think Michael Madsen could make a good Roscoe too..

Ach man, Johnny Depp is cool. Maybe not for this role, but he's definitely cool.
I'm actually quite interested to hear who floop has planned for the Knightrider remake. I reckon the Hasselhoff himself would do it, he hasn't changed all that much.

I thought the original Willy Wonka movie kind of screwed up the book (for example Willy Wonka wasn't a jerk to Charlie in the book), so I think Tim Burton might make a good movie. He certainly is well suited for making a visually interested factory, but I hope he doesn't make it too dark.
I agree carolynanna, if Waylon Jennings isn't singing the Duke theme they can keep their movie to themselves. |
