Just wondering about Pixies song transcriptions, seeing as a few guitar mags have featured there songs lately. I have chord books for 'Doolittle' and 'Trompe' that I got years ago. Total guitar magazine transcribed most of 'Debaser' and parts of 'Here Comes Your Man' in past issues(they include a CD of examples/backing tracks). Actually, the opening chord of 'Man' is transcribed diffently in the recent Guitar World version-actually, I think this one sounds correct(the Total Guitar one is a kind of a variation on The Beatles 'A Hard Day's Night' intro-chord, and it sounds really cool, but after a couple of strums on my telecaster I reckon the Guitar World version is more authentic.) Also, Total Guitar recently featured some chords and riffs for 'Monkey Gone To Heaven', and of course 'Where Is My Mind?' was featured ina recent issue of Guitar World acoustic, but are there any other magazines which contain Pixies transcriptions? And Have any magazines ever transcribed an FB song?

(i guess i should be asking this in the tab section but) what is the opening chord to HCYM please Carl? i know its a nod to the beatles but i cant find this chord anywhere. my attempts so far have been weak! and so this chord still remains elusive to my 6-string. thanks.

Oh yeah, Cecelia Ann was also tabbed in Toatl Guitar. I love the shimmering opening E played at the twelfth fret("DRRRIIINGG!")
