No, I haven't heard it. I reserve it for my long journey, tomorrow morning. It deserves to create an ambience and I can't do it with my three little cousins and their friend running everywhere in my house.

| I'm loving this - just got back to work after taking a couple of days off to be tattooed with lots of new music to absorb. Benji and Rita I've got yours - really looking forward to listening to them - quite a bit on there I am very very intrigued by. |

Well I have survived a late CD burner scare (my mates decided all week that it wouldn't burn more than about 4 tracks) and I now have all 9 (plus a spare for when I next see Mel). I am listening to it now for the first time and I think it's fucking amazing, but then we should all think that about our own, 'cos that's the point. Not so sure sure that you lot will like it, going off what I have received so far. It is completely different from Benji's, Rita's and Surfer's. I have to say that I have enjoyed them all so far, they have put me on to music I have never discovered before.
Benji, you don't like 3 minute pop songs much do you?
Right, when this is finished I am off to the Post Office. I have a package to pick up from there too.
Help me! He keeps making me post!

got whore's cd yesterday, haven't listened to it yet.
gave the first 5 songs of rita's a spin at lunch time today and it was fabulous.
loved every song.
can't wait to hear the rest!!!!!!

heh, no need for the paranoia at all, I enjoyed it mightily, I'm bricking it about mine, it seems sort of lame now. And yeah, living in the north, must have been bad in a previous life () hah, like I can talk, I'm from bloody Birmingham
My housemate kept sneaking around the foot of the stairs while I was playing it, she wants it, I'm going to have to hide it on the top shelf, or run her off a copy or something.
Rita, I haven't forgotten but I live in a remarkably rough area, I need to build up the courage to go see a neighbour, I still reckon I should get my housemates fellow to do it!

mine have finally been posted! the guy at the post office kind of grunted at me when he saw how much i had to post, when i then told him 2 were for the US and 1 was for Spain, well he just looked angry! it didn't take him long though and it only cost about £4.50 or something like that, and I've used the standard CD case things and the one going to Spain is covered in bubble-wrap (in fact Whore it's the bubble-wrap from your jiffy parcel you sent me, i ran out of jiffy-bags so had to re-cycle the bubble-wrap)...
yeah, got whore's this morning, have to say upon looking at the artists on there i wasn't convinced i'd like it at all, but really did!

but i must aplogise for the state of presentation of my comp. very sub par compared to those which i have receieved thus far.
was a bit comcerned with surfers for a while - took me ages to figure out what it was actually a photo of....

I gave two listens to rita's and one for Benji and I like 'em a lot! It wasn't what I expected: Rita rocks, hail to the rocking mummy!!! It has two instant favorites, can't say nothing more 'til we post the lists.
Isaac is quite chill, mellow, like one of my weird friend CD's. He's more brave than me, I was affraid of putting in some of my New Age songs, or rescue my old Hare Krsna Vinyl, soooooo...., be ready for a second round!!!
P.S.: Recycling rules!

rita's was the first to arrive stateside and so far (2 tracks in) its great! now i'm starting to get really excited about the whole game so much more than i was 30 minutes ago when i hadn't heard anything! and now i'm worried my mix won't compete

Firstly, Benji, you are going to hate mine. I make no apologies though, I love it.
Secondly, I got whore's today and it is my favourite so far. The third track is fantastic. I think some of your choices have been very brave, but they have all come off well. Will I get a bad one soon, I think I am due one.
Thirdly, mine have all been posted (except yours Simon, I will bring it to town with me on Saturday if you wanna meet me) and I have to say that the woman at the Post Office was very helpfull, not at all pissed off. So I guess this CD goes out to you Carol, of Middleton Post Office.
Mine has no artwork whatsoever. I just didn't have the time in the end due to my burner delay/scare.
Help me! He keeps making me post!

never heard anything else, just that track I ran out to find it and the single I only ever saw once in HMV for £5, and I thought a fiver was taking the piss and got a bit righteous and refused to buy it and regretted it ever since. So thank you, you've made a young girl very happy today!
