Your's were cheap Benji. I think you misunderstood me before. I meant that the postman tried to deliver soemthing to my house, but it needed a signature so it was taken back to the post office. I will get it on Friday.

The boy at the post office couldn't understand our game:
- Why you don't use a FTP server to do it?
- It isn't funny.
- But it will have basically no cost.
- It won't be funny.
- And what about posting your tracklists and simply download every track.
- The second rule of the CD swap club is to do not post tracklists.
- And the first rule?
- No Pixies related songs.
- I can't understand it.
He loves Simple Minds, so probably he can't understand it.

that is a truly bizarre conversation whore...
of course he raises valid questions, but then as you said, that wasn't the aim of the game in the first place.
but yes, my postage costs were very cheap, which i thank to these little cd mailers which i got from work. i tested them out on a mail to netherlands, and they arrived all tip top, so hopefully, everyone will receive theirs in good nick as well.
when everyone has receieved their cd's, we can post our respective tracklistings here on the forum so others can browse and see what they missed out on.

I don't know, rita. But he seems to be a guy with a great musical culture. He talks a lot, was a really weird man. Told me his holidays on Portugal when he saw your letter, and describe me his vinyl collection. If you're on a hurry you must try another office.

got my first 2 cd's just now!!! benji's and [opens the second one] surfer rosa's! quite a notable difference straight away in the presentations of the 2! benji, your opening track, i very nearly finished my comp with that very same song! it's a good one! going to have a listen now!

i am expecting to have atleast 1 cd in my mail tonight as well....
makes me think - i wonder how much cross over there will be between peoples comps.....
hopefully not too much obviously, but with 10 people, there's gunna be some.

Benji and Surfer! I have CD's I haven't listened to them yet though, I had to run out this morning to do some FB&TC's type shopping or there is a chance kathryn will fly over here and beat on me, and I have to get internet sorted in the new flat, I've been getting drunk to compensate and as a result look battered, my legs are one big bruise, I am much looking forward to listening to them on my new stereo *gush* Rita, I'll go bug my neighbour, or considering the neighbourhood I live in, ask my friends boyfriend to go bug my neighbour..

I´ve received Benji´s and I listened only once but I already like it very much! I only knew the first band but I hadn´t never listen to them closely!And the others are very good. Thanks Benji!
And I received Whore´s wich I´m listening right now... The 5th track is GREAT...You know why!I´m going to listen the rest and then I´ll tell you more but I know a lot of them and I think I will enjoy it. I must say that the cover is very nice, you did a very good job! That´s what the boy in the mail office couldn´t understand...to have it on your hands...wait for the mail to arrive...the whole surprise! i recieved rita's and surfer rosa's last night.
have only had a chance to listen to a bit of SR's and it was very nice - couple of quite bizarre covers in the first few songs...
will give rita's a go when i get a minute...

I've got Rita's mix in my hands. That moment saves my day, or my week, to be honest. I've heard only one song of them, so it's all basically new stuff for me. Obrigado!

taking a break from cutting out my compilations cover and stuff, listening to surfer's cd now, enjoying it, didn't think i would, as it's not really my kind of thing, well i thought that as i looked at the bands on the track list, but it's actually very good, i'm assuming we're not going into details in our reviews? not until we have everyone's? so as to not spoil others surprises? anyway it's quite a contrast to benji's, a nice contrast, 2 very different compilations, both of which i like.

Didn´t you read my post? I said I liked very much your artwork! I couldn´t do much because I´m really busy!
That Mix I´ve done it´s like looking through the past of my life...except a few bands that I wanted you to know.
Tre, this is in fact the most exciting game I´ve done, and I would like this to have another round! Maybe in the winter...
