hey everyone...i am a semi lurker and i gotta tap the knowledge here cause lots of people know their crap about music history

heres my story...it was years ago i saw a magazine with a pic in it of 3 chords...it went something like this

this is an E chord...this is a G chord...this is an A chord

the caption said...those are some chords...now go start a band

anyone recall seeing that...im not sure what magazine it was in....new musical express...rolling stone...trouser press...ive looked on the innerwebnet but found nothing

i remember seeing it in a mag...so putting on a tshirt is prolly next to happen...i just hope i didnt own the mag and then threw it out...i have some old trouser press mags from 1983 and im not throwing them out

i had a sex pistols book about 15 years or so ago i may have seen it in there and they may have said they got the chord pic from NME (new musical express) but now im just thinking to much about it...i could be way off on everything idear here...oh well...ill keep looking
