the 5th Pixie member...
What was his name? He was really good at his instrument, played with the band, recorded a few songs, but was kicked out for some unknown reason...
Wasn't it this guy? 
Didn't he become a professional weight-lifter instead?

Maybe "Fifth Pixie" is what you become when you reach 5000 posts. I guess we'll find out for sure once Homer's Pet Monkey gets there.

On the FB.net FTP site, there was a clip of the Pixies playing Trompe Le Monde live, and I'm 99% sure there was 4 people standing up playing guitar... Frank, Kim, Joey and....? I sodding deleting the thing a while back, and the FTP seems to be no more..

I've got a couple of tracks on video from Channel 4's The White Room (I think) and sure enough on Monkeys gone......... there is a 5th member playing guitar!?
I think the footage is Brixton 91??? |

Joe's brother can be seen playing guitar in the famous 'Brixton 91' video tape. If I remember correctly he didn't show up on stage until the band started to play songs from 'Trompe'.

| on the dublin date, a couple of days after the brixton, Frank made a particular point of introducing Bob to the crowd, and he played on Where is my Mind?, so def non-trompe songs too.... |
