4 cups of water
4 cups of sugar
12 heaped table spoons of instant (decaff) coffee
3 table spoons of pure vanilla extract
1/5 bottle of vodka
Mix water, sugar, coffee in a medium pot and bring to the boil, reduce heat and simmer for one hour, remove from heat let cool, once cool add vanilla and vodka, and enjoy
Guess what tre's doing this weekend, then multuply it by 5!

Hey, if you want to make alcholic Dr Pepper, just take a glass of lager, add a little coke/pepsi and drop in a shot of Amoretto. Bloody lovely!

Sound dam tasty...and cheap.
I'm having an Ab Fab flashback for some reason.
Homer, isn't there a "Flaming Dr. Pepper" drink that is made in much the same fashion only the whole mixture is ignited?

went on a bender at uni drinking only power-shandy half a pint topped with a bottle of smirnoff ice
and the following night was dedicated to cheeky vimto, two shots of port in a pint glass topped up with blue WKD
I love interesting ways of getting drunk

As I get older hangovers are getting more and more brutal...,
I try to stick with something with juice, like a screwdriver.
Its all the extra sugar and caffeine that does me in.
Just sip the amaretto straight Tre.
(I was going to say something about clamato juice, but I'm sure I've killed that already)

Tahiti Treat (remember that soft drink from the 80's?):
Amaretto, Sprite, Grenadine
The taste is identical.

Amaretto is gross, there's no two ways about it.
The barmaid at our local Hobgoblin was experimenting the other day adn came up with Katy Cola: Coca-Cola with a Guinness top. Sounds foul, tastes quite nice.

i remember (barely) one fieldtrip to some hick town a few years ago where we took over the pub - literally.
the staff all left us to it - we were pooring our own drinks and making our own cocktails.
we certainly made some crazy ones that night....i remember some very nice flaming ones...
the night ended up with a whole group of us sitting at the bar naked and playing poker.
was quite a night.
pity none of the girls not starkers with us.

Equal parts of each? I loved Tahiti Treat (and Minute Maid Lemon-Lime) back when I was young and my family would buy bulk quantities from a neighbour that worked for Coke.

No no, 1 oz Amaretto, sprite to the top, and then some grenadine... probably a teaspoon-tablespoon's worth, as you would do any other number of drinks like a Shirley Temple or Cotton Candy or Tequila Sunrise...
