Not even our French friends can find it?
(Note: if you remove the "nd" from "friends" it reads "Not even our French fries can find it?" I need sleep.)

I've got the movie on VHS. I've recorded it on french TV a long time ago. The movie takes place in my hometown of Bordeaux and is quite fun and... yeah, the music's great!

I don't think it had a video release, not even in France.

'Albert souffre' is a low-budget, but above-average, comedy. If my memory serves me well, the Pixies gave Nuytten the permission to use their music (5 or 6 songs I believe, including 'Where Is My Mind') for free, but the soundtrack was never released as an album.

Well, it seems the movie hasn't been released on video. I've searched the web but I can't find it for sale.
THanks for the welcome!

The world is all wrong when an above average comedy, featuring Pixies songs doesn't get some kind of release but scores of way below average comedies are released to become worldwide megahits.
