That was awful!
Didn't seem like they weren't really concerned though. Not to me anyway. Considering that "News" people are so conditioned into plastic expressions, sadly, I think that was actual worry. I love when they smile right after relating a horrible story, and they have to go on to a happy one.
"Over 1200 were buried in massive landslides in Jakarta, after the season's heavy monsoon rains. A violent erruption has also killed countless thousands more there. Livestock is running rampant through the ruined sewage ditches. Many fear a coup d'etat is imminent."
<cue big smile> "Up next, the beautiful local weather report for this weekend, after we tell you about how this cute little frog ended up in this Springfield area resident's coffee cup!"
That's gotta be one of the more dehumanizing jobs. |

| I got this one a couple months ago. I love it so much I've probably watched it 20 times, but I still haven't figured out which is funnier-- the groans or the co-hosts' reactions ("I think she's actually hurt..."). |

I would laugh but I think she was seriously hurt there. The noises she was making...It's like she broke her neck or something. Once was enough for that video.

Yeah, same here KoK..she seemed seriously hurt. Whenever I'm hurt I always laugh...but when it happens to other people I freak out and get sick. I don't know, it's weird. That was horrible, though.
I think that the news-people were pretty sincere, too. Apl sums up everything pretty well.

I actually know this girl. Her name is Melissa Sander and she is a weather girl on WTEN in Albany, NY. She did not die…apparently she broke three ribs and was out of work for 2 months. That is her - I don’t know her personally, but a friend of mine works with her. |

I've watched it with no sound for the first time and made me laugh. Watched again with full sound and probably I'll feel sick all day. A similar thing happened to me 8 years ago. 5 horrible days in hospital, pissing blood and stuff...

It's a pictionary word for what Tre was describing. Not very good one though, cause it's got American Sign Language for half of it.
Here's a hint. The bloke on the pillow was a "noted" psychiatrist.
Really, I miss FB pictionary. That got me addicted to this forum in the beginning. Well, to be honest, I signed on for that and the sneaky butcher.

Parts. I did read most of "The Story of O".
I should have clarified. It's taking pleasure from others' misfortunes. A slight, perhaps almost imperceptable difference. But it does make ALL the difference. |
