Damn i hate ebay sellers who take long. The wait will be worth it, the more i watch it the better it gets. If youre a big Kim fan the first few songs are really irritating, she only pops up during mr grieves

Got my dvd yesterday. It’s quite good. The sound is especially good – very impressed with that. Would be worth doing an audio rip for cd.
Video itself is not bad. Pity that it pretty much focuses on frank for the entire show, with a bit of joey, but hardly any kim and david.
Interesting about the other ones they’ve got available, but won’t be buying ‘em.

Thanks Benji,i'm sure its fine anyhow and will turn up. Is it worth the money do you reckon? Also i've just seen a dvd movie of the Brixton 02/06/04 show on e-bay along with a dvd called Frank Black at the shopping mall. Where are all these movies coming from? I suppose its the digital age isn't it. |

the brixton DVD 5th of june probably isnt worth buying, it was my favourite of the 3 i saw so thats why i got it but the camera ducks and moves for the first 6 or 7 songs, terrible filming.During the end it gets better.

I havent received a reply off the guy, which is a pity, I have however bought the forum date and the first of the brixton dates and plan on sharing those, either through bittorrent or soulseek, well, when they turn up at least.

Mine has still not arrived, 3 weeks since I sent the cheque - I've never had to wait so long for something off Ebay
My advice is not to buy from him and wait until they show up on the net |

To be fair, that does seem to be unusual for him. He's got pretty good feedback, and my copy did turn up on the Wednesday when he said he'd sent it on the Monday. |

Mine arrived today (he sent his apologies with it). It was definitely worth waiting.

I know I am posting the same thing everywhere, but only when it seems relevant and community-minded. It sucks that people have to buy these things from greedy people.
Check out Dave Chapman's incredible offering at EasyTree.org. I doubt this show ya'll have been paying for on eBay can compete with Dave's free-to-download masterpiece. It includes a complete pro-shot French performance (90+ Minutes) in almost perfect hi-res DVD quality, plus parts of two other performances--one of which is superior quality-wise to the French show. It really is amazing. I had recently grabbed the 1991 Brixton show from the same place. A nice historical document, but terrible quality. But after finally completing the almost 4 GB download of the gorgeous disc authored by Mr. Chapman, I was completely floored by the visual quality. It's about 1.85:1 aspect ratio widescreen, and picks up every bead of sweat from FB's eyeliner'd face.
