So I was talking with my super-intellectual know-it-all friend the other day (the same friend who until recently pronounced "awry" like "aw-ree" and uses "faux pas" as if it means "misnomer"), and we were discussing Apocalypse Now. I said, "I've only seen the original, not the redux," pronouncing it "re-ducks", and then he corrected me by saying, "re-do" as if it were spelled "redeux." It's not a fucking French word! Ugh! I didn't bother to correct him cuz it turns into a big ol' christing thing whenever I do.

The redux is a stupid term And your friend is a dork The redux is a word that should be used Only if you're a stork And hearing him say it over and over Isn't that bizzare? Maybe the terms of your friendship should be Answered with a question mark?
