Anybody else note that FB's B-day is listed as Apr.4 in this article?? All the other bios I've seen say Apr. 6......

You ARE right on, as usual Andy.
The most exciting thing to me in the entire article was that photo, b/c it is from the show I saw in London!!
Kind of telling that the thing that excites me most in a Pixies article is the photo of the Catholics.

That was my thought, too, though I am thrilled that Charles and his first band got their due on the cover of Spin.

The first time I read it, I thought "The guys sure gave poor Kim a raw deal."
After reading it a second time, I feel less offended as a feminist and more reminded of the displeasure of being around a drunk.

My local Borders had quite a few copies left yesterday. If anyone wants to send me the money for a copy I'd be happy to send one to you.

I just got hold of a copy in Borders and it was the best Pixies interview i've ever read. I'd never given much thought to the whole Charles/Kim thing but the interview made me think there could be something in it.
On the whole though, i thought that Frank was made to look like a bit of a jerk, especially about the whole Kim being sacked and fax thing. |

I have it now! My dear "american" friend send one to me! And I loved the interview, the pictures...everything! And I think that is very good that people finnaly can know the whole history about them. The more I know about the pixies, the more I like them! |

I think my favorite part is the picture of Joey holding up that guitar with his teeth. By the strings. Did I mention he was using his teeth? Do you know how heavy a Les Paul is?! |

No russian, but I guess that portuguese is one of the most difficult languages to learn!

I don't think Portuguese is that hard to learn. Dunno about Russian, never studied it.

Hey,
Offerw was the first to reply in an email. Two reelers and kip are in. Lex, I am going to try to go to the store tomorrow and see if they still have any copies. So, as of now everyone is adopted.
If you could email me your mailing addresses... that would be cool. If you want, paypal would be the easiest. It is pretty easy... I am not the greatest at computers and was able to figure it out.
The mag is $4.00. The postage will vary according to your location. For example, offerw chose a shipment option that will get the magazine to him in 4-6 days at a cost of $9.00 I am planning on mailing everything US mail. You can check out the US postal Service website and figure out which payment method you want...
If you have any questions let me know. Otherwise, I will plan on mailing them by Friday. |
