i call it "the san francisco sessions" rather than "ssmvgd" because that's how scott boutier referred to it when i talked to him way, way back in january of 2001.
if you'd like me to provide you with a hi-res version, just let me know.

big galoof, would u be offended if i asked for a high-res version of just the inserts w/out jewel case? i think that's a GREAT cover and would LOVE to use for my own copy (if u wouldn't mind)

hey whitey!
the jewel case "frame" is only for display on my website, as a clumsy attempt to prevent internet thievery. my hi-res version of that same art is straight, sized for printing (300 dpi), with registration marks for cutting the inserts.
unless you're just pulling my ever-so-vulnerable chain, i'd be happy to provide you with the hi-res art. just blast me an e-mail at big(underscore)galoof(at)hotmail(dot)com and i'll send you a link where you can download the goodness.

i did indeed take the pics - they date to the fall of '99, that being my one and only trip to san francisco. there's lots of other examples of my layout and design work on the site - after finding (and often stealing) unique images on the 'net and a decent eye for composition, i think layout is one of my strongest talents. thanks for the compliment, blarg!
