Jumped on the bandwagon in 94, bit late but better late than never. The Pixies have been my favourate band ever since, closely followed by Frank Black and the Catholics.
Frank Black was suppose to tour last August but cancelled, bought tickets and no show. Would love to see you guys live, never thought it would happen, but now this can be a reality. The Pixies have a huge cult following in Oz, and seeing that you didn't tour here in your previous life, it would be the right thing to do now.
Love your music on CD, need to hear it live to further the experience.
All Australian who love the Pixies, jump on the triple j web site and write a message like i did, so we can get them over here.
Can't believe my message was read out from 2,000 posted so far.

haha nice one Alstar - i heard it read out but didnt catch the name - great to see a FB.net member was chosen - I signed up straight after the first playing of the concert on Monday
if they come they better come to canberra - well if not sydney will have to do
3rd Annual Australian Frank Black Countdown August 2003 - all involved parties rank EVERY released FB song from FB self/titled to the present - average ranks are calculated - beer (or suitable substitute) is added (mostly in drinking-game form - ie. rate a song well below its average and you drink a punishing amount), then sit back and enjoy a day of frank black....the only problem is quite often memory of the top songs is somewhat limited the next day |
